If you are good at strategy, you should know that there is nothing as important as thedissertation plans. Even though writing a dissertation is a long process, that requires a certain period of time for its writing; you may lose a lot if you do not plan in advance. A dissertation plan is the way you distribute your work evenly between time gaps.
A dissertation plan should be the first thing you do after approving the topic. Just sit down one nice evening, make yourself some chocolate and draw a huge schedule, where all the points of your dissertation plan become obvious and understandable. Here is what must be included into your dissertation plan:
- Number one figure in your dissertation plan is the dissertation coach. This person should become your best buddy for the time of writing a paper. The necessity of a coach on your dissertation plan is obvious: he/she will answer your questions, guide your work, suggest ways out and much more.
- A literature search is the second important part of the dissertations plan. Since the paper is a scholarly authentic writing, background information becomes extremely important. And because literature search is not even a one-week job, it has to be planned in advance and included into a dissertation plan.
- A dissertation plan has to presuppose a time for chapters writing. It is probably least loved by everyone, because gathering information is a part of the problem. Analyzing and digesting it into parts of your work is harder. This is why your dissertation plans has to leave a good time gap for completing chapters, especially for a Literature Review.
- Do not forget to include your personal researches into a dissertation plan. No dissertation will count as successful without this important part. A dissertation plan has to leave out a good amount of time for conducting personal investigation.
