Writing Book Review Questions to Help Your Book Analysis
Writing a review of a book, you are likely to encounter several book review questions, which will determine the way your review was covering the book. We have an assumption that reversing such procedure will likely lead to writing better book reviews and accordingly receiving better grades.
The reversed procedure is making one’s own book review questions, which are attached to the book you are writing about. Taking the position of the tutor in evaluation, might lead to that your book review questions will serve as your main outline for the paper you are writing. In such way you are making sure that your review is complete and covers all the points.
It should be noted that the book review questions you are coming with, are not necessarily all the potential variants of your review. In that regard, it would be suggested to write as many book review questions as you can, categorizing them into sections, and relating each section to a part of the review. You should make sure that each section of the review, answers exactly the related book review questions.
In addition to the benefits of making your review organized, book review questions might be helpful in extending your research regarding the book. In that regard, the questions you make can be the determinant in your research, in case resources other than the book are needed.
Additionally, writing book review questions independently might be helpful in preparing to the actual questions that might be asked by the teacher. It is a strange situation, but usually, writing a review about a book does not necessarily mean that we are capable of answering questions about this book. Thus, writing book review questions is a good method of writing good reviews, do a better research and answer tutor’s questions.
