Help with Writing a Research Article
Research article writing is not only common to academic writing, but to all forms of writing. Necessitating extensive research and study, research article writing should be comprehensively written in an orderly and logical fashion. Outlined below are the important sections for writing a research article.
Title
Before engaging in the task of research article writing, you should create an interesting and unique title, which clearly describes the contents of your research article. The title should contain the relative keywords so that it can easily be found on electronic databases.
Author Names
When writing a research article, it is important to write the name/names of the authors who have written the article. If you are writing research articles with the aim of publishing them, make sure that you list the names of all contributing writers and authors and seek their permission before including their names in the research article.
Abstract
The abstract is an important section of research article writing and should serve as a preview to the reader. The abstract should be interesting and succinct, about one paragraph ranging between 100 to 250 words. Before writing a research article, you should be clear of the purpose and the methodology you will use to write the article and must mention these briefly in your abstract. You should also state the results and te conclusion of the research article which should be written after you have finished your research article writing.
Introduction
The introduction section of your research article writing should provide an overview of the related literature. The introduction of a research article should not be more than four paragraphs long.
